TTD In Germany!

As some of you know, I live in SW Germany, and while I probably won't get to ride TTD this year (I'll only be in the states for 2 weeks...to get married and be on my honeymoon), I've still been following the websites since the construction began.

Well, tonight, they did about a 5 minute piece on SAT-1, one of the stations over here, completely covering TTD! They had the reporter and a German enthusiast to describe the ride, which he loved. He kept commenting on how unbelievable the ride was. He commented on the fact that it was a 16 second ride, but that 16 seconds was worth the 10 hour flight to Ohio.

It was so funny seeing the titles they put on the bottom of the screen for the enthusiast...they had about 5. Two of them were: "Achterbahn Verrückter" and "Achterbahn Freak." (Coaster Crazyman and Coaster Freak, respectively). hehe.

Also, I have to say it was surprising how much the drag slicks vibrated during the launch...it was kind of funny. Also...they showed the two guys getting strapped in...you guys weren't kidding when you said they staple you like nothing else!
