TTD hydrolic oil leak in launch system causing downtime

Taken directly from xtremecoasters.com:

"We are getting a report that Top Thrill Dragster has gone down for an extended period of time due to an apparent hydraulic oil leak from launch system which occured earlier in the week. Apparently the leak contaminated the lagoon by the ride itself and they had to partially drain the lagoon to contain the oil spill. Paddle wheel excursion had been closed for a certain amount of time while crews worked to clean up the oil spill. There is no word on how long the ride will remain closed."

Anyone know if this has happened before? Any estimates as to how long this will keep it closed?

NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Well this explains why the lagoon was low.
I hope they just refill it now so it can reopen.

I'm worried since I'm going to CP for the first time since '94 on monday, and I've been looking forward to TTD all year! :(

No Dragster=no Cedar Point for me:(

Oh, now come on. You're all pouting because 1 of CP's 16 coaster are closed? Give me a break.

I am because I don't get a chance to go even once a year, let alone every week like many of you!

Not you, you should be mad. But you shouldn't cancel all trips because a ride is closed. No TTD= No Cedar Point? Come on!

When I go up to Cedar Point I seriously only go for 3 rides. It just happens that Top Thrill Dragster takes the lead of all three by far (Millenium Force and maXair are the other 2)
