TTD advertising

I was watching a little TV this morning and saw the TTD ad. At the end I was left thinking... there should be some kind of warning. I know talking to my friends about the ride that the GP has no idea the problems this ride is having, or at least about its amount of downtime. I don't know how realistic it is and I know it wouldn't be good for the park but I think they could add a notice at the bottom of the screen to call the park to check the status of the ride or some kind of warning. Obviously, I'm not a media/advertising expert but I do feel a company should keep consumers updated of information about its product. Just my two cents and they probably aren't worth that!
I dont know where you saw the ad for ttd on tv ,the only ad's ive seen since last week are the old ones from last year. I havent seen the newer commercial in a while.

Here in Toledo the media is doing a good enough job of letting everyone know that TTD is down. They have nothing newsworthy to report in Toledo, so the news stations have TTD updates almost daily. I know many people who have decided not to go this year because the media makes downtime sound like the ride isn't safe.

Yeah , I know what you mean ! I've noticed that too about the media . I've been hearing quite a bit on the news lately about how top thrill dragsters not such a thrill lately .

When I went to World's of Adventure on Thursday afternoon, I heard someone talking about how Dragster was down for the year. They said they had heard on the news or something that Dragster was just shut down for the rest of the year. I had to politely tell him that we had just gotten off about 2 hours prior :)

I just saw a B&B appliance commerical, in which their new deal is buy x (i forget how much) amount of stuff and get 2 free tickets to ride top thrill dragster, the worlds tallest fastest roller coaster...ect. They go on and on about riding dragster for free, and barely mention cedar point. You think they would say 2 tickets to cedar point, and not dragster since they can't guarentee you will ride it becuse they can't guarentee it will be runing.

I have seen a few CP ads on TV over the last few days, and they are just regular CP ads with all of the 15 other coasters. I have not seen a TTD commercial, or even any pics/vids of TTD in any of the commercials since they have started having so many problems with it.
CP has discontinued it's advertising of TTD. Not a good sign, for this year...

I was thinking to myself the other day if they would do this...that's the noble thing to do. If it was Six Flags they would be advertising the park with rides the park doesn't even have. :)

...and the most anticipated event of summer 2003 is...

The Matrix: Reloaded!

Whoa. Six Flags has rides?................That exist?..................That work?
