T&T Wednesday Surprise??

does anyone think that there will still be a wednesday surprise?

I have no idea. If the surprise was theming wise, then they may still tell us. Or maybe they will hold the surprises until later, since we have another month.

Maybe the surprise was the sad news we recieved today.

I highly doubt they'd advertise a "surprise" of a major problem with one of their coasters. The mood at the park has to be very somber right now. I'm sure they were even more excited than most of us to see Mav open.

It seems like they are upset too, why wouldn't they be? could you imagine being on Maverick crew and having this happen?

O.k., it's Wednesday and no surprise from T&T. Maybe the surprise was that Maverick WOULD open on time despite the trouble.

I can't believe they just figure out a day or two ago that they would have to keep the closed until June.

They might have known the problems for some time and thought they could tweak the ride to make it rideable, but at the last minute decided replacing track was the only solution.

They've been cycling trains for almost a month now...maybe despite all the computer wizardry, it wasn't until actual human testing that they realized the problems were worse than they thought.

Could the surprise have been the POV video that Jeff was contracted to film on Saturday (which was, obviously, canceled)?

They lied to us, there is no surprise!

they still have 10 hours 13 minutes and a few seconds left of wednesday.

Mabey they are starting up Extra Point again, a while back in a blog they said that they will start it back up in the spring. or it just might be Maverick in the banner

I suspect that any plans that they had made for today and the rest of the week were suddenly put on the back burner. Why? Hmmm, let me think. I'm sure there must be a good reason.

okay, okay, another thing I just noticed. Perhaps we're all thinking too "big" with this Wednesday surprise thing. I looked back on the timing of the blogs when they mentioned there was a surprise coming. I think it's highly likely the surprise was the model of Maverick featured on Friday. Like they wanted to show the model as a special treat for the day before Media Dday.

some people just miss the logic...if this were any other message board, I'd be shocked. ;)

You may be right. People on here always seem to be let down a bit after their "special" announcements. Sometimes they seem to build things up a bit too much...
