truth behind the supposed 5-6 hour wait?

I have been reading all the posts that say that the longest that the wait got to be saturday was maybe 4 hrs, and I am trying to figure out if it really could be the 5 or 6 hours. I mean from the start of the queue it is a definite 3 hrs, because I started about halfway through the first section and it was 2 and a half. Now, in the morning when everyone was at MF, even after they got the queue filled up the line extended way past the railroad tracks and towards the wildcat and dodgem. So what I am asking - was anyone here in that line that extended past the queue in the morning? How far did it extend? How long did you wait? Hopefully this should bring some truth behind the actual wait time. It doesnt matter how long the line was though, the thing was definitely worth it!!

Your right, it was worth it! I started in line a row into the temporary, covered queue, and it took me about an hour and a half after everything got going. Also if you were outside of the queue how bad was line cutting, and did they have police or whatever to enforce it?

Whats life if you never get to the point?
On Sunday, it was 3 at the beginning of the day and as far as I know only went down from there.

Yeah hurricane I want to know about the cutting also, because I was at the front of the line that they held up to let the first crowd get into the queue and I was getting so mad because people were walking into the cut-off line ahead of me and there were police all over but it seemed like they missed it!

We monitored the wait time the past two Saturdays and it never got to be much more than three hours. It may have gotten to be as much as three and a half hours but I don't think it got to four hours.

The wait has never exceeded four hours. Tonight it was only 1:40. It'll get better with three train operation.

When we first went in line sat morning the line began at Cedar Downs when we reached the wild cat a CP employee said from that point it was 7 hrs so we left went to Magnum about a 10 min wait. Later at 2:00 we got back in line the queue was not completely full it was a 2:15 wait and well worth it.

They were telling people that because everyone got in line for the Force and left everything else empty. Duh.

I agree with Jeff, and I also think hat they did not want the queue to over flow into the Midway.
Today, the sign read 4 hours. They had a problem with one of the trains, so they could only run 1 train. Needless to say, I did not wait. I'll wait until another day.

Scooter(my dad) and I waited about 3 hours both times that we rode MF.We did wait until about 4:45 to get in line and then again at about 9:00, when they closed the que(sp?) line. Earlier in the day it was out past the Dodgem cars and we decided to wait to ride. The three hour wait was really worth iut though.

On Saturday, the Cedar Point Police were all over the MF line, they were pulling people left and right. I was very glad to see this kind of action taking place.
