Don't call it "TTD." That's lame.

So is Top Thrill Dragster, so what's the difference?

Remember, "Being fat can even ruin a romantic cruise"

I agree SteelMonsters, "TDD" is no lamer than the real name. "Top Thrill Dragster" seems to be more of a description or tag-line than a name. To me it would make more sense for it to have a one-word name and then follow that by calling it a "Top Thrill Dragster". That would make it easier for people to roll off of their tongue.

I am not saying that this is a good name, but for example:
'Cedar Point' presents, "Supercharger"...a Top Thrill Dragster rollercoaster.

I hereby declare that the shorthand for this ride is simply "Dragster." Oh how I hate it when people call that big blue thing the Millennium instead of Millennium Force, but TDD is lame! :) "Dragster" it is... ;)

Exactly. That's what I was getting at. It's like those idiot Geuaga Lake fanboys that call Batman Knight Flight "BKF." What the hell is a BKF? Just call it Batman, I know what you're talking about. It'd be like calling Magnum "MXL2C."

Magnum is a good name though, TTD, Top Thrill Dragster, or even Dragster sounds cheesy. I think I'm just going to call it number sixteen.

In my opinion, Dragster is a fine name to call it. Glad to see Troika isn't leaving.

TTD makes it sound like a Canadian public transit system...

Jeff, I think the key is that the people who like using letters where names would be better are people who can't type. Going back to the Batman: Knight Flight example..."BKF" is three characters while "Batman" is six. But in speech, "Bee-Kay-Eff" is three difficult syllables while "Batman" is two simple ones.

W/the # of ppl. who shorten everything they type, it's a wonder that UNIX isn't more popular....... :)

We don't call it "Magnum XL-200", so we don't have to (and won't) call this "Top Thrill Dragster"... :) and PLEASE no TTD.

World's first strata-coaster!

I was just trying to abbreviate Jeff, I mean i could spell everything out or give it a name like Maggie or Millie...which sound like some old ladies...i mean cmon why flame for TTD..if we all want to be so technical then we should use only proper names for everything and not call Wicked Twister WT or use MF, ID, or KBF for Knott's berry farm....SORRY if i was out of line
TTD is the abbreviation CP used for the website, so why complain about it?

Because it's lame Internet crap. Why not just allow people to stop spelling out "you" and "are?" Besides, the "Top Thrill" part of the name is lame and stupid.

I call Millennium Force MilF! It works on two levels (the second one I can't post because it would be inapropriate because young visitors come to this site).

Chaos is supposed to go where Schwabinchen was while the Troika is supposed to go where that huge flag was the fourth of July last year.
...which is right next to the top of the first hill for Disaster Transport. I'm trying to imagine it there.

And launching at 120 mph to the other side of this topic...

OK, since nobody is happy with an abbreviation, let's follow CP's (oops, can't do that), I mean CEDAR POINT's example, Top Thrill Dragster it is.

The best thing about Six Flags "Worlds of Adventure" is that Cedar Point is nearby!
