This is my second time to Cedar point but last year i stayed for 3 days...What do you all think the crowds will be like and can you give me some good places to eat, a hotel to stay in, and some other tips that are suitable for the days im going..
thanks
There is a place called Ryan's buffet and bakery. My family eats there every year. I know last time we went there, they had all you can eat steak for a very low price. And it wasn't that bad.

I usually stay at the Clarion Inn. I have been happy with their rooms every time. Just make sure your request a "inner room" so you dont smell the mine.

But last year you spent 3 days, what exactly does that mean for this year, more, less?
Stay at Breakers if you can, you get the package of savings, early entry (which means you should hit Maverick ASAP), use the Magnum entrance to do so.
Eat at Famous Dave's, TGI's or if your in the mood, try the Thirsty Pony which is right at the entrance to the causeway. I for one loved that place, fun with betting, bowling or chugging down some cool 120 oz beer cylinders, and the food is pretty good.
Unless the weather is bad, expect big crowds during the height of the day (11:00 - 7:00). Lines should be in the 45 - 1.15 min hour range for the popular rides like TTD, MF, MAV. and between 30 - 45 for rides like Raptor, Maggie, Mantis, PT, MaxAir, Skyhawk, WT, Gemini.
I always say, expect the worst of the line waits and you'll find out that they're not so bad afterall.
I feel that too many people on this site over-exaggerate the waiting times. Honestly, anyone who says they waited over 3 hours for a ride is either lying, or feel that they have to impress someone with how much time they waited for ride.
When I hear someone say they waited 3 hours for TTD (a 17 second ride), I can't stop thinking to myself, "Man that guy's an idiot...or better yet a Bush supporter".
Enjoy your stay.
