My family and I are planning to go to Cedar Point all day Sunday sept. 3 and I would just like to get an idea of how crowded it is around that time. I've been to Cedar Point twice before in mid June. It had pretty much the exact same crowds on sunday as the weekdays I was there, which is to say they were relatively nonexistant. Barring Millenium, Raptor, Mantis, And TTD (substitute WT for my 1st trip) everything was walk on, and even those weren't too bad. Dragster, Mantis, and Raptor had pretty much consistant half hour waits all day while millenium ranged from 45min - 1hr. Do you think that's comparable to what I should expect for this trip, or is this a worse time of year for crowds?
I believe September 3rd is in the middle of dead week, but I'm not sure.
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator
September 3rd is Sunday of Labor Day weekend. (he even said it was a Sunday so how you got middle of the week, I don't know).
Unfortunately Steve, we can't really help much as there is no way to predict the crowds. The best indicator of crowds is the operating schedule. To borrow Walts phrase: The park doesn't close at 8pm because the midway is packed.
