Trim on Mean Streak gone?

Whenever I rode I Friday the trim was definately not on, but I thought it was just off because it was so cold and the trains really weren't going that fast anyways. But when I posted that on another board someone else said that the trim was gone all together. Does anyone else know for sure?

I haven't been up yet this year, but just from reading the Trip Reports thus far, I can say that the trim is definately still there and in operation.

Welcome to...Millennium Force...

Ride twice last thursday. They were on both times, but the trims just about stopped us at the top of the lift the first time. Mean Streak is still an enjoyable ride though, no matter what anyone says! ;)

I have begun ranking my MS rides this year, I am going on a scale of 5 and so far I have had a range from 0 to 4.5 pretty dang weird eh?

BTW the trims are definitely still there and they probably even grabbed the train but you just didn't feel it so much.

Welcome back Magnum riders how was your ride?

:) Monday I rode twice in the afternoon in the back with no trims.  Ahh Mean Streak is great it was flying over hills with yes, airtime and great drops!!
I just can't resist. Every time there's a topic about the MS and its trim brakes, I have to post something. And every time it's not good. The suck pie trims need flushed down the crapper! I can't come up with to many complaints about CP, but this sure as hell is one of them.

3 footers + Fence = 400' Ride? (Even Ms. Cleo couldnt call that one!)

If you catch it off it's because the train ahead of you was empty and slow. That's how it determines how much, if any, to squeeze the brake.

I rode when they had half the train roped off (not enough people riding?) Had one bad ride and 3 or 4 good rides last weekend on it.
Just after the rain on Saturday, I got 5 trimless rides in a hour. Let me tell you when I say Mean Streak hasn't seen too many better days. This thing was flying, and I definately got airtime. Also the classic "Dinn-shuffle" has been a lot milder, while the ride has been a lot wilder simataniously. Way to go CP!
I rode Tuesday and Wednesday near the back of the train with the trims on and while the ride did not seem as rough as it did last season, it was just plain boring.  There really isn't any airtime or laterals to be had when the train is moving so slowly.

Rode twice last sunday(once with the train all to myself :-) and the other with only one other rider in the whole train)and the trim was on and working.dangit.

"Happy Now?"

Only excitement on Mean Streak now...feeling like you'll fall out of seat when the trim grabs while going down first drop.  I used to LOVE this ride.  Now I just ride when others make me.
