Travel Channel Coaster Showtimes - March

Oh god. I had a great time at IoA and US. And they may make a run for best park. But CP is so close you just can't argue with it. CP is your classic amusement park. IoA is a grown up Disney land.

Jeff, I agree it's a great park. I've only been there once, but it was great. I think the 3D Spiderman ride is the best ride there, even beating out Hulk and Dueling Dragons. Jurassic Park was fun, too.

My preference now is Revenge of The Mummy in the studios. That is an absolutely fantastic ride. Really good times.

I haven't been there with RotM yet. DD had to be one of my favorite coasters. In my mind it beats the crap out of Raptor. Though if CP dropped one in it just wouldn't have the same effect. The theming on that ride is amazing. Jurassic Park also has to the best water ride. The only ride that dodn't live up to my expectations was MIB. It was just lame for some reason.

I was there before Revenge of The Mummy... Too bad I missed it, it looks really cool. I should be getting back down to Florida in the next year or two.

I wonder which roller coasters will be on tonights show...

Does the discovery channel every show coaster related specials anymore? I remember a few years ago they used to all the time.

You can basically tell that TTD and MF will be on there because they are fast hence the name Beyond Speed.

Well, just watched Ultimate Thrill: Beyond Speed. No Millennium Force or Top Thrill Dragster. Not even a small mention of Cedar Point at all... Just Six Flags stuff.

It was a repeat.

Well there's still hope in Ultimate Thrill: Technology of Terror and America's Coolest Coasters. I'm pretty sure that one of them has Dragster in it.

Ultimate Thrill: Technology of Terror comes on at 7:00 PM EST. Right after at 8:00 PM EST, another one comes on called Ultimate Thrill: Fast and Frightening.

Looks like we overlooked one...

Well in ultimate thrill: beyond spedd, i never saw any footage or mention of CP yet in the credits under special thanks it thanks Janice Witherow. I was kinda confused on that.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble (sorry, all this March Madness has me talking bubbly! haha) - but both Technology of Terror and Fast and Frightening are from 2003.

HOWEVER, the good news is "America's Coolest Coasters" is a BRAND NEW, 2005 release!!!! So warm up your VCRs, or DVRs, or TIVOs, or whatever you use to archive these puppies - as we finally have a new show that hopefully talks about CP! It's on Mar 18 @ 7PM EST and again the next morning, Mar 19 @ 2 AM EST.

A couple of descriptions:

Wow Paul Rubin wasn't stapled in at all to ROS, maybe thats why people fall out. Anyone else notice that?
