Wasn't the Turnpike Cars two separate tracks before Raptor's opening? I believe the Cobra Roll occupies the area that was a second loading station and the remaining track was connected to create one long ride.
The thing is, my favorite layout of the three car rides is Turnpike Cars. On the other hand the cars that are my least favorite of the three. At any rate I wouldn't want to see any of those rides leave the park.

Ok this may sound stupid seeing that i have been to cp countless times. I know where the cars are in frontiertown and under raptor. Where is the third one? I looked at a park map and i only see 2. Im probably going to get flamed but im confused.
Firemen never die, they just burn forever in the hearts of the people whose lives they saved
Does anyone know the motors that are in the car rides? I've never looked and could probably tell by looking at them. I know the Turnpike cars are 7 HP motors.
What is funny to me is that both Antique and Cadillac cars both use 1909 Cadillac cars. Not really close to an actual production model (many design features are missing and the addition of a rear seat completly throws off the side profile and rear 3/4 view) but at least feature the signature grill.

Yes -- you got it right. There were 2 separate tracks before Raptor was built. I distinctly remember as a kid dragging my parents in line to ride the other track when I got off of one. Also I believe they reversed the direction the cars travel on the track that remains today (which is parts of the 2 tracks that were connected connected a few key places to make one track) when Raptor was built.
If my memory is serving me correctly, I remember something of kind of a final straight line stretch of the 2 tracks running side by side toward the loading platforms and then they split off in oposite directions right at the unload/loading platforms. (Which was actualy really just one very long platform with a queue line at each end for the seprate tracks.)
Looking at arial photograpy of the ride area, I don't remember exactly where the 2 platforms were located, but if you look closely at the Bing maps birds eye view of the area, you can see some areas of the newer (whiter) track, compared to the older (darker) original track. Also I think they completely rebuilt and slightly relocated the loading & maintance area and queue as I think most of it was located where Raptor's mid-course breaks and turns are today.
