You heard it here first...all three trains received a fresh coat of paint for this season. And yes, they are still red, blue, and yellow.

No one should ever disagree that Millennium Force should be painted, but the trains being painted is a step up.

I don't know whether they were repainted or not, but they did look sharp when I drove by them today when picking up my season pass/taking pictures
MF trains deserve this.....as does Millennium. But boy is that alot of coaster to paint!

I thought those trains seemed brighter when I saw them yesterday. The park is gonna look mighty spiffy this year.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

He just said they were painted, so you do know;)
I'm sure since the trains were painted this year, I'm guessing that next off-season, Millennium Force will get a fresh coat of paint on the track.
Not sure why you would think that. The trains were painted a few years back and they didn't paint the track the following year.

^They did? Millennium Force has only been around since 2000. So, after only two years they repainted the trains? You did say a few years back. Not saying you're wrong, it just sounds funny to me.
I know the walls in my house would look pretty crappy after a couple years of people kicking them and steping on them, so why is it so hard to believe? :)
They did do some painting on the trains. I can't remember if it was before the '02 or the '03 season. There was even mention of it on this site (well, GTTP actually). All the little rivits on the trains used to be silver. They now match the color of the train. Maybe it was just touch up, but there has been some paint applied to those things before.

You're just guessing. "I'm sure" makes it sound like you know something. But, you were just guessing.
Maybe CP likes their record breakers to chip and rust like Maggie before they paint them...
I can see the next paint job coming in...oh...2010.
Coaster Fanatic Since 2003
Actually they are still painting Magnum XL 200. I went on opening day and then on may 9th. When I went on opening day, part of the hill going into the tunnel was still in need of paint. When I went on May 9th it was painted. So I think everynight when the park closes they are still painting it. I don't know how you can paint in the dark, but everytime I go I notice more of it being painted.
