I love CP and all but there is only one thing that had me a little anoyed. The cosmetics of some of the trains. I know that safety is the primary concern, but some of them are realy getting bad.
Millie-Logo on lead car on red train is peeling and its missing the orange M
Mantis-The train has faded and is in need of a new coat of paint
Mean Streak-Logo and lightning bolts on sides are starting to peel.
I know the track may be hard and expensive to paint, but the trains should'nt be to hard or costly.
Millie is the best ride in the park and should have trains that fit the ride quality, not the faded track.
I still would rather ride a safe coaster than a painted coaster though.
I'll be Coasting for Kids on June 9th

Check out the front nose of Corkscrew and Gemini you'll see what CP does with these decals.

^It's amazing how long the Corkscrew decal was maintained on the front car of each train for years. Now it's just plain and missing the CP insignia on the bottom as well.
I couldn't get a good look during my last visit, but is that the new CP logo without the "wave" on the front of Magnum's trains?

I agree with what you're saying Phantom. Those little things do count. It almost seems like they replace these things mid-season though. I don't know why, but I remember numerous Dragster decal problems last year in early july, and by mid-July they were all replaced.
Thrills Around the Corner!
You guys are right even a little work on the cars can make a ride look better, I was just at SFGAm and they had replaced the decals on the front of their rides and it looked amazing the only problem is they were only running one train on batman.
Disaster Transport 2012
The decals on the cars isnt all that costly. Its more easyer for the decals to be put on but they have to use a different kind of paint to paint the whole car without the decals. They have a sign place at the parks so they can make the decals. But people do peel off the designs when they are stopped or the weather gets to them and they fall off on its own.

I think they should refurb the green train from Millie, it was always the fastest one, until the day it ended up in the lake...
;)
^Lemon chill guy says its not in the lake anymore. :)

Mean Streak looks terrible. The zig zag (lightning bolt pattern) is peeling bad and is discolored. I know mid season they do change the front logo but I cant remember if they change the sides or not.
"Mean Streak crew 2004"
I miss the original decal on the front of the MS trains without the cloud. They just simply read "Mean Streak" really big on them.
