Which train do you think looks the best? Personally, I like the red one.
i'v noticed that when coasters have different color trains, that folks tend to have "favorites"...i want to see them in person before i decide, but i do think the red one is pretty sharp...

Hey, I like all three just as long as I'm goin' 92 on 'em!

Thank you for riding Raptor and enjoy your day here at Cedar Point, America's RollerCoast!
Uh, yeah, isn't it a little early to have an opinion when 99% of you haven't even seen them all?
I personally like the yellow train best, but will probably change my mind after it has a logo on it (I love that stainless steel nose).

red, yellow and blue trains...hmmm...I don't really like it. I think they should have all silver stainless steel trains. It's more futuristic and besides...blue, yellow and red isn't exactly original...look at MANTIS!
Agreed. All that stainless steel would look fabulous. The down side is you'd have to use that stuff that restaurants use to clean them all the time like a McDonald's counter top!

Yeah, but the ride ops SHOULD treat the trains like I do my auto- they should be fighting to wash and detail the cars everyday with a toothbrush. They eyes of the world will be watching and/or riding.

Yes, jon, cleanliness is very important. However, the ride ops can't stop their jobs controlling the ride and making sure that everyone is safe a few times a day just to "detail" the cars "with a toothbrush." It isn't reasonable, and once a day would not meet your approval, I'm sure, after the collection of bugs that would be spattered on the pretty shiny stainless steel after the morning hours.

Once a day detailing is enough- the rest of the day you can go over with a rag or something quick.
:)
(but safety is still #1, and capacity is still #2)

Actually, bare stainless would probably be easier to care for than the Fiberglas finishes we see on other coasters. Just rub it down with a soap solution and a Scotchbrite pad, then hose it off with a pressure hose. No need to worry about scratching the finish or knocking the paint off...

What? Stainless steel? Pshaw!
Chromed out, all the way!
