Train

Call me crazy but from the CP webcam on WT, it sure looks like there's a train hanging on the tracks in the station. Anyone else seeing this?

Well, I just checked and I don't really see anything resembling a train, but we should be expecting it (if it's not already there) shortly. Also, the transformers should be getting hooked up soon. I can't wait to see that first test run (even though it will be a webcam shot).

Brent02, I think I can see the train in the rear of the station as well! If you look closely you can see some bright colors inside the station, and my guess is that it is the train.

That definitly looks to be the train in the station. The colors are all right. I can't wait to ride it. Its getting so close to opening day!!

I think the transformers are already hooked up. In the photo gallery at cedarpoint.com, they show a picture which is captioned something like, workers connect the main powerline to power the ride. IMO I think that would mean the transformers would have to be in place before they would connect the main power source....

I also think I see a train hanging on the track. It is also to dark to see. Who knows.

yes ladies and gentleman that IS a train...they finished putting it on yesterday

Its about time! This coaster is taking so long to build....They were almost completed with the MF by now and the WT is a lot smaller. Its good they finially hung the train, I thought I would have to come hang it myself!

Structurally, they were done a 1-1 1/2 month ago, but the electrical aspect is what has been been taking a while.

You have all gotten me so excited about trying to see the train and yet I still can't see it...Everytime I try and look the sunlight is hitting it weird and I sit and stare at my computer screen hoping to see a little evidence of the train...Now I just tried to see it again and the webcam won't load the whole bottom half of the screen and it seems like today's a good day to see it...Well, I guess I'll have to wait until I see that thing going on the webcam or wait for my first trip to the point... :(

Be wary of falling shoes while waiting in line for Raptor

It's 5:30 pm on a beautifully sunny Saturday afternoon, and I just checked out the WT on the web cam...the angle of the sun in the west makes for a GREAT view of the train hanging under the track. ^_^ Just a couple steps closer to the day I'll finally get to ride it!

Yes Lee, I finally see the train. Thanks for the update. 43 days until I get to see WT up close and personal. I'm getting so excited. Now if only we had a diary update, it would make it seem so much better.
