Trademarks

An interesting search today.... Trademarks owned by Cedar Fair. Or rather... ones that are no longer valid.

TESS is not designed for permanently linking to a search result. (TESS is the Trademark Electronic Search System at the United States Trademark and Patent Office.)
You'll have to search it at http://tess.uspto.gov. Click the single link to start your search session, then the New User search. Then type "'Cedar Fair" w/o the quotes in the search field, and switch the Field list to Owner Name and Address and the Result Must Contain list to Exact Phrase.

You'll then see the results. When you are done, please LOG OUT to free system resources on their end.

Anyone want to open a chain of Coasters resturants? Or how about a MILLENNIUM rollercoaster?

The only thing worse than people who make grammar mistakes are the people who have to point it out every ****ing time.

Aww.....Florida! But That's America's Wang

Heres a better link, US Patent and Trademark Office. It shows all trademarks from a search of Cedar Fair. Enjoy.

Edit: Please note, not all of the listings on the page are for the actuall Cedar Fair that owns Cedar Point.

Did anyone notice that in addition to Cedar Fair, a lot of the trademarks were also registered to Magnum Management Corporation.

Interesting, the name "Millennium" was trademarked in 1997, but it is dead now.

I guess they were going to name it Millennium by it self but then added Force.

I found it a litte interesting that there were no Top Thrill Dragster trademarks yet. Well, at least nothing listed on this site.

Joey: Hey-hey, I'm not judging.

You don't have to register a trademark to claim it as a trademark. Of course, if you don't register, it becomes extremely difficult to fight another's use of your trademark claim (as I'm discovering).

They aren't even putting a "TM" next to the Dragster logo, which seems kind of strange to me.
