TRACK PIECE IN FRONT OF WEBCAM GOING IN NOW

Is that just a steep hill?

Speaking of webcams, is the SkyHawk webcam in the right position to possibly see P2007 track poking from behind the trees...if it ever reaches that height ;)

There is nothing quite like becoming a human windshield on Millennium Force

Would it be possible for Intamin to have made trains similar to Vekoma's MotorBike trains? Then Cedar point could theme the trains toward wild horses...

That would be kinda cheesy.

One thing I don't get is the footer that is almost directly under the new track they put in today. You can see it clearly in the webcam archived photo now. There is no support there yet, but my question is, how can they put track in so close? It doesn't seem like there will be enough space for anything really. I guess it could be a brace support, but who knows. What do you guys think it will be in the future?

The footings just below that track piece are most likely for angled supports for other track up above.

Yea...those supports look as if they'll be built on top of each other so it will be definitely crossing over the track we see now...but just how high above it? we shall see...we shall see :)

actualy, that footer is right behind the piece of track and if you follow the other footers, it looks like its going to be a helex going right along side the hill the just put in.

1. Millennium Force
2. Top Thrill Dragster
3. Magnum XL 200
4. Raptor

Man, that fotting just below the track must be for some wicked support. It has a TON of electrical conduit coming out of it. :)

Before everyone starts freaking out, I was JOKING!!

It's threaded conduit so they can still screw down the track while simultaneously running power to the electric footer inside the concrete.

...Also joking :)
