Does anyone else remember how Cedar Point used to put a small piece of track from the newest roller coaster on display under the sky ride? It would be coming out of the ground (if I remember correctly) and would be accompanied by a description of the new coaster. I seem to remember this for the Iron Dragon and Magnum XL 200. Does anyone know when/why they stopped? I thought this was creative and wish they would still include it.
I remember that! I miss that kind of stuff.

Wouldn't it kind of be hard to place a track piece from a Wooden/Inverted/Stand-Up coaster next year? :)
Er, I thought the only time they did that was when they retracked Magnum's knot...they put one of the old track sections there in the midway flower bed the following season...
