Track layout over? the trail?

I was just curious if MF is going over top of or under the Frontier Trail...or maybe both? I can't really tell from the layout that I've seen.

It is going over the trail and then through a tunnel

...on the return trip only. It's going through a tunnel then over the trail on the first pass :)

For clarification: there are tunnels on the bay side of the trail, then the tracks will cross over the trail, then go over the Frontier Town - Funway portion of CP&LE, then the two lagoon hills.
