Town Hall, is the future looking better?

While making my last rounds on closing day I made a stop inside Town Hall and I was surprised on what I saw. Additions! I'm not talking about wax figures, I am talking about things people would be interested in. We all knew that the Blue Streak model was coming so that was no surprise. It now looks like Town Hall is going to be the new show case of awards won and given to the park. They had banners hanging from the ceiling of all of the Golden Ticket awards won, and banners hanging of old postcards blown up to poster size.

I must say that this is a serious improvement and hope that the improvements contiune. Everything from signs, to Fascination tables to the Scwabinchen lady I hope the park slowly wakes up and realizes that they need to hold on to their past. Like many I am a huge fan of the park's history. I would love to see a wall dedicated to the roller coasters; opertaing and defunct coasters and their history with all the records they have broken over the years.

Like we have talked about before Town Hall needs some improvements and hopefully come opening day we will see even more additions.

Dan, I feel the same way. I didn't stop in closing day,but did so about 3 weeks ago when I was last there. Of course the first thing I noticed was no turnstyles going in! I was impressed with the banners hanging! Everything looked really nice.

I always make at least one visit to Town Hall each season. For someone who has been going to CP for 36 years, some of the pictures of the old and defunct rides really brings back wonderful childhood memories.

The model of Mean Streak as always been impressive to me, and I can't wait to see the Blue Streak one, and the award Banners!

A fascination table would be cool! I always liked the old games and movies. But it seems over the years more and more are breaking down, and not getting fixed. I do love the museum and can't wait to see what they add next!

The town hall cordinator had aparently been trying to get funding for an "update" for several seasons... mabye he got his wish this year?

Town Hall is one of my favorite stops when I got to CP. My favorite thing to do is to play the monkey game (you pull on the lever and the monkey climbs up the pole) and the football (soccer) game.
