Total puzzle... putting it together piece by piece

There has been a great amount of talk about what Project 2003 will end up being. We know certain facts for sure. I am going to put some facts together, while making some predictions of my own. I will describe what I believe the total picture will be, based on the discussion... and much of it will be obvious already.

The complete finished puzzle will be the following: Intamin launched by hydromatics, with 420 feet max apex (a new record) on a tophat, 3 overbanked turns at 125 degrees (a new record for highest degree of bank), and it will reach 125 miles an hour. The circuit track will be all red except on the top of the tophat (where it will alternate red and white) with yellow and white support structure. The coaster will only run along and partially over the Gemini Midway from the pretzel on Iron Dragon to Camp Snoopy. There will be a three station system, one for unboarding, one for boarding, and the final for launch prep, and the stations will be elevated over the lagoon along the Gemini Midway. It will have 4 trains of 6 cars, four people per car, and the trains will be designed to look like Indy Cars. The name will be Speed Demon.

Disclaimer: This is not at all to be claimed as official, but merely an attempt to put the puzzle together to come up with the final product through the discussion on GTTP.

That doesn't sound like a very short ride...

June 28th: LocoBazooka Tour (Sevendust headlining)
July 11th: Korn, Puddle of Mudd, and Deadsy

Basically going to be figure eight with the overbanked turns... not too long, but not so short either

Sounds like it could work. Actually, just a bigger brother of Xcelerator. I like the idea of a launch prep station, almost like Rockin Roller Coaster at MGM. I think that adds a lot of excitement to the whole ride experience. Not quite as much as the little "Overheating" thing on DT, but still some anticipation.

Hoping to work at The Point in '03 so I too can get drunk and pee on VertiGo
