Apparently Top Thrill Dragster is scheduled to be in operation today...

That's pretty funny! I wonder how many other rides are planned to be operating today for that huge mass of crowds which will be at the closed park! ;)

Did they just change it? Because now it says "Cedar Point’s newest roller coaster, Top Thrill Dragster, is scheduled to be in operation the rest of Cedar Point's 2003 operating season."

Chris, everything I say is a lie. Except that. And that. And that and that and that and that and that. And that.

If thats the fact, I'll be in luck for Sunday!

Unless I misread it and just assumed that it said "today" it may have just been changed today.

I'M CALLING IT NOW! Knowing some of the people we get on this site, the first day that Dragster doesn't open, they'll be *****ing away "the status page said it was supposed to open for the rest of the 2003 season." They should have just put a page up saying that Dragster is closed for the day along with the rest of the park and when the weekends roll around, put the "open" page back up.

Calm yourself, Kemosabi, no need for excitement, ranting, raving, yelling, screaming, or otherwise acting completely out of standing with the rest of society.

Dick Kinzel did say they will run Dragster all winter if they need to so it runs right. CP should charge $10 or so for Dragster only rides after the park closes. Maybe it's a stupid idea, but if you are going to run the ride, make a little money off it and let some people enjoy it.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

So your saying we should ride it in the winter...If you ask me, that would be a little too cold for me. I'm not an eskamo, so I'll pass.

Hell I'd ride it in sub-zero temps, snow, sleet, anything you can throw at me.

How about a brick? ;)

You did say anything we could throw at you...

Yeah, I'll start one at the top of TTD, and by the time it reaches where you're sitting at the launch position...heck, that's gotta be the equivalent of a small earthquake..;)
