Top Thrill Dragster Sign

One of my friends has one of those Top Thrill Dragster signs from last year that red Top Thrill Dragster will be open today intermittent delays are possible. It looks real...has that blue background with flames and black stripes just like the real one, the sign is made out of a hard plastic like the ones at Cedar Point, but it does not say "please accept our apologies." is it possible that the officials at Cedar Point made a sign with out that phrase?

I don't believe that particular sign had the phrase "please accept our apologies" on it. I thought only the signs saying "Top Thrill Dragster will not open today" had that on it. Maybe I'm wrong...

Well, I recalled they had about 4 or 5 different forms of "dragster is a lemon" signs last year so it is possible it was left off that paticular one.

These are the ones I remember off-hand...

Top Thrill Dragster will open later today
Top Thrill Dragster will not open today
Top thrill Dragster is closed, may open later
and the one you speak of

I've been using one of the signs for my avatar and my profile picture for the past few weeks.

Top Thrill Dragster is Currently Closed. It May Open Later Today. That was the most common one.

Now the Signs are "Top Thrill Dragster will not open today. Please accept our apologies."

I knew the signs would come back from last year after the unfourtunate cable incident... :(
