top thrill dragster open or closed?

I have been watching the webcams today and I have noticed I have not seen anybody near Top Thrill Dragster. The neighbors said they went on Tuesday and it was closed. Does anybody know if it is open? Im sure this closure won't be happy to a lot of the physics kids that get to go.

It didn't open until 12:15 today... they were testing it all morning up until that point, not sure why it was closed. I thought the reason might have been for the possible arrival of the yellow train but it was not. I was kinda disappointed because I had to leave at 12:45 and I actually got in line for Dragster but had to leave the line when I got to the final set of queues. Nonetheless, it was running 5 trains fairly well when I left...

radinator, I was there on Tuesday 5/20, and the ride did open, infact I got 2 rides on it. From my understanding, the reason they are opening late is so the ride ops can get the timing down a lot better.

When I was there on Sunday, I thought that the ride ops were doing a fine job. It seemed to me that the most time wasted is waiting for the system to reset, not the ride ops. I am just guessing and hoping that it is still in the break-in phase and CP doesn't want major troubles in the future.

Hi, first time post.
I was at the park yesterday (5/22), and it was closed all morning. I got in line around 2:30 and it said it would be a 3.5 hour wait.

However, with 5 trains going consistently, we were quickly near the entry to the ride in about an hour and a half. Then, the ride broke down for about an hour. They took out one of the trains, then started it back up. We got on, and just after we got off, it broke down again, I think for a long while.

Talked to an employee while in line and he said that the 6th train is going to be added this weekend supposedly.

OHH, also, I forgot. Yesterday, when the ride broke down, one of the first trains they shot up, didn't clear the top. The crowd cheered loudly for this. Then they shot it again and it just barely made it, and the crowd cheered even louder.

I was there on 5/21 and due to extremely high winds MF and Dragster didn't open until after 12 noon. My stepson and I were in the third train to launch.

well that will be cool having the 6th train starting this weekend...i'm going tomorrow!.
