In my personal opinion, there is an added bonus for these new queue lines at the Top Thrill 2 site. In past history there was a flaw in the design of TTD's queue lines being in such close proximity to the ride trains. Considering new basic fundamentals of safety, the new innovation of the security envelope shown in this video should improve rider safety, and provide a better end result for all. So lets join together on opening day with our free gift keychains from last year's costermania event and line up to ride this big beautiful ride. That is the final outcome that I'm looking for!
Sit tight fellas ;) Whoop, Whoop Juggalos!
Is there also a flaw in the design of the queue lines for Millennium Force, Iron Dragon, Valravyn, Steel Vengeance?
TTD operated with millions of people in those queues with no injury.
Maintenance was notified repeatedly that day that there was a noise when the damaged train ran the course, they made adjustments that did not fix the actual problem. That was the cause of the injury.
Any coaster with a part flying off at pretty much any rate of speed could injure guests in nearby queues or on the ride itself.

Irregardless of your personal opinion, the true reality is that it was an unintentional mistake that we would be lucky does not repeat again. I'm glad Cedar Fair decided not to completely destroy ttd, and instead worked in a joint collaboration with Zamperla to manufacture an emtpy void to serve as a safe haven between the new queue line and the speeding trains. This from what I have been told was a necessary requirement for the project, and kind of an unexpected surprise if you ask my personal opinion. I can't wait for this frozen ice to thaw on the shores of Sandusky so we can get on this thing!
Sit tight fellas ;) Whoop, Whoop Juggalos!
