but so long as that person hasn't violated any FAA rules or broken any laws, the company is way out of line on this one.
Could not agree more.....

Then again, maybe all CF has to prove is that employees were on property - somewhere, anywhere - at the time of the drone flights, which given the FAA prohibition against flying over people, would qualify as rule-breaking.
But then why not just fly around the perimeter and still post videos, especially now that testing has begun....

The fact that it took the park…oh I don’t know, months to get around to telling him to stop; and/or remove his videos is quite surprising to me. He didn’t violate any rules and it’s a weird flex by the park to suddenly decide that NOW the videos are an issue. Unless others have been flying drones and not following the rules.
They could have just said no drones going forward (they are testing after all) but why take everything down? Seems a bit petty on the parks behalf.

That the videos are gone regardless is why it seems as though the fear of financial ruin via CF attorneys is a likely explanation.
But if it is not illegal per say then wonder why they would do what they did? Financial ruin since they would have to defend themselves, even though CP would not win? Not debating/arguing with you at all just trying to understand why if it is not illegal, then why even worry about it. Scare tactic maybe?
Opening day can't get here soon enough, then none of this would matter! Can't wait to ride this, it looks incredible.

If he hadn't removed all of his TT2-related videos, I could see a polite request as an explanation for no further videos.
And if he didn't violate some kind of law (intentionally or unintentionally), I also don't see how just a "hard flex" by the park with no actual legal standing would lead to him literally wiping everything and changing the name of his channel. That seems pretty sudden and drastic for someone who has invested a lot of time in building a following .
I'm sure he wasn't exactly the park's favorite person. The "but it's free hype!#@!" argument is just silly, because you're reading this right now, on a webpage whose mere existence is evidence that the park (and especially TT2) does not have a "we need more hype!" problem.
My guess would be that 1) he was asked to cease all the unauthorized footage for whatever reason, 2) he ignored that because he "didn't have to", 3) the park simply waited for a reason to happen, and 4) something finally did happen, and the park jumped on the opportunity.
Maybe none of that happened, but I would certainly guess that #1 happened, and that would mean #2 also happened.
Looking forward to the explanation.
