It runs with three trains normally. Unfortunately, I've seen quite a few instances already when they've had to take one off for maintenance.
These rides with load and unload stations really bog down terribly from a capacity standpoint when they are down a train. They'd be better off if they could load and unload at the same spot when they are down a train.

Has anybody else noticed that TT2’s trains sound much louder this year than the short period of time it operated last year? I remember during one of the Twitter Q&A sessions last year, Tony said he was shocked with how quiet the ride was. This year, it almost sounds as loud as TTD.
@Adam (kind of wish I could tag people and blast a notification), what is the exact durometer of the new vs old wheel coverings? I assume that you know this.

Seeing as how the ride was designed to run optimally with 3 trains, I'm a little surprised that now in year 2 there isn't a 4th train so that when one goes down the ride can, you know, still run at an optimal level.
I'll finally get a first ride on Father's Day.

It is louder because the new trains are heavier than the first version.

75D? I don't know! lol
However, I'm fairly certain that the wheels are the same ones that were used last year.

Not sure I saw anyone bring this up yet but it certainly looks like CP/Zamperla are working through troubleshooting something with the seats. Pictures of silver seats on the blue train and vice-versa. SOmeone on X (the everything app) said potential issue with some sensors maybe? Just something to monitor.
^^And here I thought you were a fan. Someone point us to a true TT2 die hard please. ;)

I can't believe that you don't carry your durometer with you at all times
