My girlfriend is a cry baby type. Do you think she will complain constantly about pain after riding this?
If so, I'll just ride alone to avoid that. I'm already going to go alone on Mantis for that reason. Any other rides to worry about?
Keep her off the two wood coasters, especially Mean Streak. They are rickedy and rough, most people enjoy that, clearly your girlfriend does not.
Maverick is really smooth, except for the 2nd Stengel dive where there is a moment where you might snap your neck a little. However if you keep your head straight (no bending to any side) you should be good.
Corkscrew has some head banging, wouldnt take her on that either.
Mantis is more of a problem for us men then women due to some anatomical differences, I really think you would be ok there.
As for general things, if she isnt a big fan of forces, stay towards the front on any coaster, its always more forceful (and "rough") in the back.
Too painful for a chick?
Yeah, I definitely wouldn't allow any of my barnyard animals to ride Maverick. ;)
eat. sleep. ride! - Coaster apparel and accessories!
Ride on, MrScott!
I would say to have her ride in the middle of the coasters. The back on any coaster is way too rough. And personally the fronte seat is too much wind in the face. But the middle is pretty much a safe bet. :)
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
Just tell her, "My other girlfriend will ride anything" . . . ;)

^^ Thats a nice way to get a slap in the face after the question, "And who is this other girlfriend you're talking about?!?!?" ;)
Anyways Maverick is not rough compared to Mean Streak just ride in the front and you'll be fine.

Maverick isn't horrible at all. Its so smooth. But I suggest not taking her on mean streak, it hurts in places it shouldnt for a woman. Some know what I'm talking about if your a woman and have ridden that and blue streak...ouch!
So stoked for 2010 :]

Maverick is smooth but you hit your head a lot on the OSTR's if you sit in the back. Thats what I meant to say.

Tell her to take some extra vitamin D and orange juice to reduce bruising and possible breaking of bones.
Any steel coaster is "fine". It's those wooden ones that scare me.
It is all about the "turning with the coaster" thing though. I swear if your like they are in the movie Cool Runnings with John Candy when they are in the bathtub like "turn 1...turn 2....turn 3" you will be fine. I kind of have a "turn with the coaster" method. But if you hand in there like a noodle you might get bounced around.
Anything with wood either supporting it or the actual track itself. Also, it really depends on your size. How big is she?

I never have problems with Maverick. Just gotta know how to lean in with the turns.

Our Father, who art in Calgary, Bobsled be thy name. Thy kingdom come, gold medals won, on Earth as it is in Turn Seven. With Liberty and Justice for Jamaica and Haile Selassie. Amen.
^^^ Caleb you might wanna re-word that lol. And every wood coaster at CP is rough, but I wouldnt say every one. Eltoro, and tons of others by gravity group and I think GCI are perfectly smooth.
