Its more a time thing. Don't like going on weekends, and don't have a chance really to go during the week. So, I try and go once in May, spend the summer going to Michigan's Adventure and then get back out to Sandusky for one or two Halloweekends.

Ah..I have school Tues / Thurs. Than I work in GR at an ISP Mon / Wed and Friday or Saturday. And I don't work Sundays. So Sunday is my "Cedar Point day". I plan on trying to go many many Sundays this year.
But yeah my girlfriend and are I like oh boy...the parks going to just get busy now.
I am going to Michigans Adventure this Sunday because my parents are out of town and I have to watch the dog. But it's supposed to be like 77 degrees Sunday.
^Sundays are a mixed bag. Sometimes Ive been and its been nearly as bad as the Saturday crowds, but sometimes it can be d-e-a-d, dead. It all depends on if the weather has been good for a string of days (especially weekend days,) and other events happening. Also if there is a chance of rain (especially one after a string of good days that was forecasted correctly from the extended forecast) it decreases the crowds.
Yeah one of the best ride times I've had until this year...has been last August. I made a trip report and was there for a week straight. But out of 7 days it was a Friday that happened to be the best. Sunday was just as bad as Saturday's with the families.
Next time I go to the point I will hit up Toft's and I am at least going to ask for a sample of the Maxair ice cream.
I need a twelve step program for Cedar Point or something.
The flavor has been around since 2005. It was served during the Hotel Breakers 100-year anniversary ceremony that year, though I don't know if it was in the park.
