To Make a CP Coaster...

Ok Intamin designs world record breaking coasters, there installed by Intamin, & Cedar Fair, but who really makes these coasters, where is the track made, as well as the supports, & Themeing, if any?

Does anyone Know? *** Edited 9/20/2004 1:38:22 AM UTC by Joe@cp04***

Well, joe, Intamin manufactures the track and presumably the supports in Switzerland. B&M, however, fabicrates their parts at Southern Ohio Fabricators just outside of Cincinnati.

Doesn't Intamin keep their track manufacturing secret. Discovery channel wanted to do the Making of a Coaster on MF back in 2001 but Intamin wouldn't let them in. Morgan did instead.

B&M uses the steel plant in Cincinnati for the coasters built in the U.S. They have another plant for euro coasters.

hummmm....how do you know all this

Because it's common knowledge. Intamin manufactures their junk in the homeland and ships it maritime and intermodal. B&M doesn't build anything, they contract it out. A steady stream of track has been coming out of the Southern Ohio Fabricators plant (or whatever they're called) all spring and summer for their North America projects.
