...I think a Fast Lane shouldn't wait any more than 20 minutes.
I think the FL wait time should always be a function of standard queue wait time. So, if it's a 10 minute wait when the standard queue is 60 minutes, waiting 30 wouldn't be unreasonable in July when the standard queue wait is 3 hours.
The tag line is "wait less", not "wait less than 20 minutes". ;)

The trouble with the RMC I-box track like on NTG is that it turns a wood coaster into a steel coaster. I'm all for reprofiling Mean Streak to make the layout more exciting, but I would like to see the ride remain a traditional woodie. The Rocky Mountain product that I think they should use is the Topper Track, it reduces maintenance but allows the ride to remain a true woodie.Maverick has a beyond vertical drop, overbanked turns and airtime hills. Why do something similar with Mean Streak? Reprofile Mean Streak to give it airtime, re-track it with Topper Track and let it rip! The park would get an exciting woodie that remains what it was originally intended to be.
I'm not at all opposed to a topper tracker implementation on Mean Streak, especially given an aggressive reprofiling. That, too, would remedy my main gripe with Mean Streak - that it is a poor, low-thrill design. I have had the occasional trimless lap on the ride and, roughness aside, it is still very mediocre.
My excitement for an I-box re-imagining is mostly tied to how seemingly well New Texas Giant turned out with the old ride practically being a "sister" coaster to Mean Streak. True, it would subtract one of only two woodies from the lineup but then CP could add a new GCI in the years following (Gold Striker east?!).
^^You want to walk on rides as much as possible, buy a VIP pass :P
Like I said elsewhere, you barely wait compared to a normal guests if you compare wait times.
Corkscrew, Power Tower, Magnum, & Monster/ Witches Wheel Crew 2011
If Cedar Point decides to keep Mean streak the next 5 years, they should eliminate the fast pass. There's really no need for it for Mean Streak.
Why would they do that? It's one more ride for them to advertise as supporting it.
And honestly, it still saves time. MS is not always walk-on.
The longest I ever waited for MS was about 15 minutes and that's because Maverick was down that day.

I can't say I've ever waited much for Mean Streak. However, I have waited what felt like an eternity for it to be over.
RCMAC, the ride we waited 3 hours for in the 90's is dead.

oh never mind.
Promoter of fog.
You can still wait around 2 hours for Mean Streak. Just go on a nice weather Halloweekends Saturday. I still like it better than Corkscrew.
