Tickets for Soak City

I am going to the Point in a couple of weeks and was wondering if I buy the ride and slide tickets for my kids can I still get into Soak City to watch them or do I need to buy a ride and slide ticket also? I don't plan on doing any of the water activities. The kids are old enough to be there by themselves but I might want to go in to check up on them.

If you want to go in, you need a ticket or a combo pass.

No, if you want to get inside of Soak City, you need to buy a combo ticket. Although, the park isn't that big so you could have your kids come out to the gates by Soak City, and you could talk to them from there. It would probably be better to buy a ticket though.
