Are there usually this many ride closures?
Camp Snoopy, Corkscrew, MaXair, train, Gemini, eagles, monster, pipe scream, rougarou, wild mouse, windseeker, etc.
Last night was my 3rd Thursday I have visited this season and this was indeed interesting. Last Thursday, Corkscrew, Gemini, Eagles, Monster, Pipe Scream, Super Himalaya, Rougarou, Wild Mouse and Troika were all open. The fry stand near Raptor was closed (no big loss considering how awful those fries have been this year) as was Sky Ride gifts (which was open last week since I bought a hat there). With the Thursday crowds increasing, I'm surprised they have opted to close some things down. Yeah, I know staffing is pretty tough to come by, so I understand. Just saying it seems weird that this would happen after prior Thursdays seemed to be running at a higher capacity.
I saw a list posted yesterday and it was much larger than the prior week. Maybe someone will post it. It included some of the usual old Friday night suspects like Rougarou, Pipe Scream, Camp Snoopy, etc, but the one that surprised me was Wild Mouse. Maybe not that many families with kids go on Thursdays?

I have been invited to go to Cedar Point with a group of 7-10 people. So, I would have a way up there and people to go on the rides with. Nobody has ever invited me to go up there since I was a kid and lived close to there. But I see on the live cam today that the Sky Rides are not working. What else is not working today? Why go if things are going to be closed?
The international staff members work through the end of September, which is why the September Thursdays and Fridays have been a mostly open park the last few years. This is the first weekend without them and it shows. But the lineup is still no different than the old days of the magical low crowd Friday nights.
