Thursday June 28th - Possible Spontaneous Trip

I decided to make a trip to the park on my day off. Anyone else going to be there? Might be cool to hit a few rides together, i'll be a single rider and probably doing a lot of Maverick circuits throughout the day. It calls for some Rain, which is making me have second thoughts, so whatever the radar shows tomorrow will be the deciding factor.

I'll be there tomorrow pending on the rain.

I wish I could make it there on June 28th. By the way, June 28th is my birthday :]

Well Maverick runs now in some rain. They just go down to 4 train op... If I could take another half day, I'd be there... but... I might get fired. :)

So the rain looks like it will hold off for now, so I'm off for some Maverick Time! Hopefully the rainy forecast scared some people away!

I think I may be there Sunday as well Mark... I was a bit concerned with the crowds being a Holiday Weekend, but I assume people will be going to work at least on Monday... I know I am...

Speaking of going down to 4 trains for the rain, do they even run all 6 trains anymore? Every time I look at the webcam it seems there is one on the transfer. I thought they had it running with 6 really well, I can't imagine why they'd want to knock it back to 5.

It's been running with all 6 every time I've been there. It looks like all 6 are on the track now.

Looks like BGRooDog picked a great day to go the park. The rain has stayed away, and the crowd has been fairly light. (Just heard from a friend working in the park).

Did anyone go yesterday(Wed)? I was gonna go, but my friends canceled on me. I was wondering what the weather and crowds were like, since I didn't go. I wanna go Sunday, but I'm not sure, unless Sunday crowds are not too bad.

I wonder how much having the NBA star in the park this Sunday will affect crowds?

Oh well look at that, I too am going sunday! Oh that simply means one thing doesn't it guys? Yup! PARTY AT THE POINT!!!:)

Wow, good trip! Crowds looked large, but the lines were incredible!! I stayed in the back of the park all day, didn't even go to the front. Magnum-Thon Baby!!!

I was there today as well was not sure if any of you guys were there or not... I also got to ride maverick 5 times today... best ride in the park imo. Not only do i fit but it has the best elements of currnt coasters on the market and it is just all in all a fun smooth ride..

I am going back the week of aug 6th for sure and might try to get up one time after or before that let you guys know...
