Thunder Canyon

Does anyone know what the date is that Thunder Canyon will close for the season? Thanks!

Dates of operation usually follow the Cedar Point Shores calendar for the most part, so I'd expect the last date this year to be Labor Day.

Last year they closed it on the Monday before Labor Day. So this Sunday might be its last day this year.

Yeah it was closed last Labor Day weekend. We will be there this weekend & early next week. My son wants to ride it; he just “discovered” White Water Canyon at Kings Island earlier this summer. He loved it. He says he was very disappointed by Darien Lake’s Grizzly Run, though (go figure)! So anyway hopefully Thunder Canyon will be open for part of our visit.
