Thread The Needle now goes to The Gatekeepers towers
I just realized that the old name of the Space Spiral, Thread The Needle, can apply to The Gatekeeper. The Space Spiral was known as Thread The Needle before it became a space ride. As the hawks trains go through the new towers it is like threading needles. So, this is in a way fitting. Now you can thread 2 needles so to speak.

Not sure why it annoys me so much but it never was and never will be "The GateKeeper".

That's because it's a proper noun......like every other coaster at the park that has a name.
