This is one ride closer to 1,000!
Does that mean you just ride for the numbers? As a previous marathoner of Timbers, I hated it when people assumed that's why I rode. I loved the ride, and I enjoyed riding it all the time; however, I just kept track for the fun of it and I couldn't have cared less if I was getting closer to 1,000 or whatever number. Don't get me wrong, it is fun to think "this is the 1,000th time I've ridden this," but it's another story if you think that going over the top everytime. Or maybe you really don't think that everytime...and you just wanted to jump in this thread and brag about your laps..another thing that annoys people.
I'm just bringing it up because comments like that make it seem like you don't even enjoy the ride everytime...which is why you should truly be riding in the first place. And I really belive that is why you ride, because I've seen you...but comments like that kind lead people to believe that you're just in it to hit certain marks and not to enjoy the ride, the crew, the park, and all of the other things that make up the whole experience..
