Things to do in Sandusky offseason?

tambo:

I have spent a lot of blustery cold days out at Thunderbird. Brrrrrrrrrrr......................

There is always the indoor "tent" in Huron. Is that place still in business?

It was deflated during summer but now it's back up. Although instead of being just a range on the side it states it's a multi sports complex.

It always has been. Football, soccer and baseball help pay the bills during the golf season.

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

I went to Sandusky last year during the off season. I believe it was in early February when they had David Francis' A Day At Old Cedar Point presentation at the Merry-go-Round museum. That was a pretty interesting place, plus the real working merry-go-round relieved the off-season blues a little bit. I also spent a little time at the mall, and of course some time at Battery Park staring accross the bay. From what I've heard, if you have little ones, Great Bear will be plenty to keep them entertained.

Ok, all this off-season talk is getting a little depressing, time to jump over to the Area 51 forums.
