If the roller coaster scared you...
RIDE IT AGAIN!!!
I believe that some of those breaks are trims, and there will be more to this ride than a L-TH-B
That may be a bad example, but I highly doubt CP is gonna lose the element of speed that this ride will produce to make it a little longer. Does it make sense? No.
I guess theyre just on a roll ;)

The difference between people who say it will be long and the people who say it will be short is that the people who say it will be short actually can look at the construction site and realize they're are two perfectly straight lines of footers and supports.
However; has anyone else besides myself and my family seen the footer in the cluster of trees near the tower? It looks set back more towards where the Paddle Wheel Excursions docks were. Sorta "next to" the tower...just over there chillin'. Someone should get a pic of this footer so other people know what I am talking about. It's kinda hard to explain where it's located... but if you look at the drawings that people are posting...it would be on the left hand side of those pictures. Not too far from the yellow support tower...but sorta hidden in the foliage or trees over that way. Check it out if you go this weekend!
There is a huge difference between observation, and speculation. If you look through this forum the posts for a L TH B is from observation; however I have yet to see anything for a longer layout that ISN'T speculation. Now why would that be...... hmmmm... Maybe CP IS building a L TH B coaster after all.

It really would be cheaper to build the same ride here as knots berry farm.
Maybe it will be a double top hat ride, over the top.
All this guessing is giving me a headache.. I need to ride something :)

I'm not an old foggy I'm just an old coaster rider..
I must say that right now everything i have seen points to a L-TH-B ride. if this is the case, i will be disappointed with a 10 second ride, but if the launch and top hat, get the adrenalin flowing, i know that i will get right back in line.
Now, as to why they're doing it. I don't see a L-TH-B coaster being fairly expensive. I would guess that they are able to build this for around the same price as xcellerator, if not less than. think about it, you have one massively tall, yet fairly simple support tower, and the rest of the track is close to the ground meaning smaller and cheaper supports. a straight peice of box track, and brake track is easier to manufacture than a bunch of over banked pieces. Now in my opinion, getting a reccord setting coaster for a fraction of MF, is a great deal.
ok, I have one other comment to make about there possibly being something slightly more to this thing. From all the picture of this thing i've seen, it appears that the side with the break run is significantly highter than the launch side, which appeared to be a couple of feet off the ground. I don't think that there will be anything like a hill, or OB turn, and the breaks will shave off most of the momentum, but i can picture a helix, or double helix going in there, as a little extra bonus, if the breaks shave off all but 10mph, i don't see the train reachin much more than 25 when it leaves this, and will be able to be stopped by a much shorter break run.
like i said, i've not seen the construction in person, and do know how large of a height distance there is, and I'm probably just wishing for something more.
Completely unrelated--If those truss things in the parking lot don't you thing this thing will be an even bigger eyesore? You've got a yellow tower supporting red and white track with a silver elevator going up the middle of it.
One more thing, those silver cages, they look like pieces of a stage or something.
