They Are Watching US!!!

You Guys know how CP says that they ask their employees What "they" would like to see in the years to come. Well What if they look to sites like this to find what people really want and well I don't mean just the GP I mean the real hardcore Fans like me and eveyone else on here. Well that is just my two cents I know it might be goofy but hey IT could be true.

It's a possibility. That's why it doesn't bother me when we discuss rumors all the time... real or not.
It has been noted before that Chris Sawyer sometimes checked the boards at Danimation.com...so anything's possible :)

I also thought some of the peeps at CP read GTTP as well...

At CoasterMania, Bill Sphen said he looks at GTTP a lot.

Jeff has made it quite clear on several occasions that people from the park's upper management read the forums. I don't, however, think they sway their desicions on what we say here... plans for the park are locked down years in advance.

There's a difference between someone from Cedar Point reading this site to get feedback on park operations or get a general consensus on what park fans are thinking ... and .... someone reading postings here looking for ideas on what to build. I don't think you're going to hear anyone at the park say "hey, everyone, someone at GTTP just posted a coaster idea. It's a 450-foot mega floorless 15 inversion looper made entirely out of wood. We should do that!! That would be kool!!"

What coaster enthusiasts want doesn't always equal what's good for the park.

Hi Mr.Sphen!
A lot of people are browsing this site. This site was talked about on a local radio station here in Grand Rapids MI. They were reading some posts on the air and joking about how we are all junkies of CP. It was fun. I loved hearing them say it over the air....www.guidetothepoint.com...one of the best resources for Cedar Point news and gossip. WGRD in GR plugged this site big time. If they are...you KNOW that CP mgmt is. They are getting a kick out of the area 51 stuff. I bet Dick even has a screen name and is on here posting stuff to confuse us. (The Mole 3)

There definetly reading for feedback. Notice how quickly Freeway signs were put up after it was brought up in a thread?

Maybe they'll do something about that strange no personal water thing. I think we've made quite a big deal of that.

I like the 15 looper wood floorless idea...

I want a standup floorless.
I'm watching you.... :) Ok, so I don't count. I like the Xcelerator idea for that spot. Whenever I'm at Witches' Wheel and I have the time to, I imagine Xcelerator in that location. I can't wait till announcement time. "Later This Summer" is fast approaching us and I have a bet I hope I win. ;)
