There might be a few things were overlooking here......

1. I think that first of all we need to realize that this coaser can quite possibly cover much more ground than were expecting. Theres still 9 more months of construction time, im sure that this coaster could extend into MF's, MS's, and even Magnums footprints. If this is going to be the coaster of all coasters, then what were seeing now could only be a fraction of the big picture. I dont think that 500ft. and longest coaster records are out of the picture yet.

2. "Sidewindin"- How about instead of reading into it... we take it literally. What is a Sidewinder? Its a snake that insteas of moving foward, moves sideways by whipping and curving its body. Well what if the trains on this coaster are totally unique, what if the were sideways? whipping around all those turns and hills would definately give the feeling of a sidewinder snake.

3. Little bit of land, alotta lake erie

4. Last but not least, do you guys think kinzels goodbye is going to be a small 3900 ft long 170ft. high steel twister? I dont think so

Except Kinzel is staying a bit longer to make sure his real legacy goes smoothly... the Paramount deal.

As much as i would love to believe that, i just don't see that happening. With water regulations, discussed in previous threads, its seems to be a false hope.

Not to mention, you would think that they would've started construction over the water by now because it doesn't interfere with the actual park, and they would have to start soon before the weather starts to change to its frigid self!

The coaster making it to Magnum?

Well, since magnum is sinking, they have to have something else to put there right. :)

That would be dumb if it extended to Magnum. That means it would have to go OVER midways......a lot of midways....a lot of space there. It could go right next to MS (most likely) and maybe even by MF. No one knows yet.

Other than that, the rest of your ideas are just plain dumb. Sorry if I came out to hard, but think about it.

It wouldn't do much as a larger coaster. There are already coasters that are similar to this called spinning wild mouse coasters. They are neither very tall nor very fast but are lots of fun.

Not going to happen (but I won't say never). If you can wipe out every conservation group (including, but not limited to, Sierra Club, ODNR, MDNR, Great Lakes Forever, etc.) you MIGHT have a chance to build into the lake.

No, I think it is going to be the multi-billion dollar purchase of an entire chain of parks. That will be more his legacy than any single coaster could ever be.

Um. I would love for it to reach those other coasters, but....realistically- not gonna happen.

People also claimed Issac Newton, Einstein, Galileo were stupid and dumb - just because they thought outside the box. I think we all should be able to post our opinions and not get grief for it. Sensible discussion - yes indeed, but calling someone stupid and mentally challenged because they have an opinion, it just not necessary.

WIth that being said, I don't think there is enough room to put a coaster all the way over to Magnum - but this is the fun of the threads..try to think of what is being built.

I do not believe building into the lake is an option - EPA would be all over that.

There is a great possiblity for the ride to like that of a snake. Maverik the movie - west, snakes - fits the theme :)

Man I forgot how harsh this place is. It doesent need to cross any midways to make it over to magnum, all it has to do is go behind MS and around camper village.I dont see anything wrong with voicing my dreams, ideas, and opinions. Its totally possible (maybe not probable). Lately all the mockups and things people are saying are making this ride seem very short, and the one thing im hoping for is a coaster with some serious ride time. All im saying is be optimistic.

This place is only harsh when 20 pointless threads get created an hour. When you do that, you tend to get the natives restless.

Get the Kinzel crap out of your head! And I really hate to say it, but most people on this board are going to be sorely disappointed with whatever this ride is going to end up being.
