Theory on Announcement2

i know that this thread was already closed but i think its an interesting possibility. and yes jeff, rides can be re-engineered after they are manufactured (V2 at SFMW shrunk a few feet and now has a 45 degree spike instead of a 90 degree one when it was built, or drachen fire's corkscrew was removed and the ride re-opened before being torn down this past off-season). i dont think that the announcement is late, but i agree that CP might be waiting for another park to make the first move. right now CP is showing their poker face and increasing the bet with each new shipment of track.

The ride modifactions was done a year or more after the ride was built. That makes it a whole new story...

The ride sounds like all of it is built but now they are just waiting for the shipments. If they change the height they would change the lanch, the power of lanch, the list keeps going. There is a lot to consider when you modify a ride like that.

And a word of advice, Barry, since you are new at GTTP. If a thread is closed, it's not wise to post it again. That kind of activity can get you booted from the forums.

Try carefully reading the TOS
