Theme Park Studio game

For all of you who like to play RCT or any other theme park simulator game, a new one was just released on Steam today called Theme Park Studio. It's an early access game so it may be kind of glitchy. I just put this on my wishlist. And alot of users are giving it good reviews.

I backed the kickstarter and have an early entry key but right now my computer is Ubuntu and it doesn't work on Linux :( Waiting till I get a new computer and will probably download it then.

I just downloaded the game, only to be very unhappy that the roller coaster design function (the only reason I purchased the game) is still locked.

It said coasters won't be available until phase 3. That's one reason I don't like buying early access games. I hate paying for unfinished games. I don't know why Steam thought it was a good idea. I guess so it helps the developers fund their games. But I just think of it as paying to beta test.

Steam Early access is a much better version of Kickstarter, where you actually get your hands on the project you're backing, instead of gambling your money on the promise that something will eventually become of it. It allows developers to raise money for their game while simultaneously allowing their backers to be a part of the development process by providing feedback that developers wouldn't normally get that early in the development cycle. I see it as a win win, as you can help shape the game for the better.

I see what they're trying to do with Early Access. But my problem is paying full price for an unfinished game. I think they should make it so you only pay a portion of the full price for early access and then when it's finally released, you pay the remainder if you want to keep it and if you don't the game will lock up.
