The Villian

One time I was riding The Villian, and I had water balloons in my pocket. I threw them on the road right next to the chainlift while I was riding. The waterballoons did not pop. No I am not making this up
Ok.

You're a cool kid, you'd be even cooler if you could spell the name of the ride right.

And you started a new topic for this why?
I'm guessing hurling water baloons from the coaster is NOT part of the riders safety guidelines .

Not to mention that it is a violation of the law that you could get arrested for.

I'm all for fun on rides, but the rules are there for a reason. After someone gets hurt is too late.

Here is some info on the Ohio law:

Ohio was one of the first states to implement a Rider Responsibility Law in 1992. Within Ohio, an owner is required to display a sign beside each ride quoting the law: (I) “Section 1711.551 of the Revised Code requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding this ride and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor.” The law serves as a deterrent to dangerous horseplay by patrons, the major cause of amusement ride accidents. In the last four years, more than 80 percent of amusement ride injuries in Ohio have been caused by human error or horseplay unrelated to the condition or operation of the ride.

What is good about the Villian now, is in my opinion the ride will return to it's original glory like it was in it's first year (which I think was 2000). That ride was awesome then, great air, great lateral G's. Then about two years later I rode it with some friends and we all complained about the roughness of it. There is no reason that ride should not have great air and be nice and smooth this year. If it isn't then CF needs to give GG a call.

I heard mixed reviews about it in the last few years some people said it was good, some thought it got rougher as time went on. Again I only rode it once 2 years after it debuted and I thought it was a lot worse then when it originally opened. But then again if you have BKF (or whatever the new name is) shuffling on the track and getting rough, then ah, someone isn't doing their job.

The best thing about this acquistion is geauga lake can now return to it's glory and charm, with some nice coasters, that I wouldn't mind sitting on all day.

There now this topic has some meaning about Villian.

Dumbass. You aren't going to last very long here.

I really hope that Villain gets the love and attention it deserves. In 2000, it was honestly the best wood ride I've been on, and the only wood coasters that I've been on that I like more are Raven and Legend at Holiday World. Villain is one of the best traditional out-and-backs I've been on, new or old.

What time does the water show start?

Wow I couldn't agree any more Jeff. That coaster ran great the year the park was flagged. It's a shame we've all had to sit here and watch its demise. Ah, but it will be back. If they are spending money on BD and RWB, I don't see why they wouldn't want to get Villain in shape.

That is about as stupid as the time I was at CP and was on gemini (actually it was the first time I ever rode gemini I think) and these guys had a basket ball and were throwing it back and forth up the lift hill... and the guy in blue train didn't catch the ball... I don't know if it did any damage... but it went down into the parking lot below. I was in the red train so I couldn't see the lot too well. The level of stupidity of some people is just mind-numbing

Amen brother!!! This ride has been neglected for far too long. SF is notorious for adding "stuff" but never maintaining what they have. I can't wait for CF maintenance to get their hands on Villian and bring it back to its original glory.

Blue people fly sideways when it rains....

Can I make a suggestion? How about replacing those Gerstlauer trains with PTCs like the other top CCIs have? I have a feeling that would help Villain jump up to a more deserving rank on the Golden Tickets.
