The seat belt policy moves on

On our last visit to the park, my daughter and I we're hanging on in camp Snoopy / Gemini midway. We rode the Monster, she hit the Bumper Boats, the Frog Hopper, Peanuts 500, the Snoopy bounce and off to the Woodstock Express we went. After a short 10 minute wait, they loaded us up. That's when it hit me, they have changed the seat belt buckles. My daughter not knowing of the seat belt policy controversy, noticed the difference. They went from a plastic type to metal ones like on PT and WT. Not that anyone would really care, I just wanted to let people know that the Seat Belt Policy Moves On.......
They finally put real seat belt buckles on Woodstock Express?

Well, it's about time!

I always hated those plastic buckles; they pinched my fingers almost every time. I figured they used them, though, because they require a bit more strength to open than the lift-latch buckles, making them slightly more child-resistant. Slightly more adult-hostile, too.

It has nothing to do with policy, I think they just finally put something on the ride that wasn't crap. I was relieved when I saw those early this season. I never understood the use of the cheap plastic things.

I was pleased, too. Those three-pronged plastic doodads just screamed "replace me monthly."

Lol Brian. Try "replace me nightly." ;)
