The point webcams

I know this is probably going to be really stupid, but here it goes anyway. I know probably many people are doing this but I started using webcam magic to capture the images from the webcams on point. I am compiling all the photos into a time lapse video and archiving them along with the images. I started doing this on the 26th of this month. I wanted to do it in case something important happened i would have the pics to lean back on to see. I am going to be putting them on a ftp server im setting up right now. Once that is done anyone wanting to get the videos can contact me for info.

Are you doing them by taking one each hour? or just one every day?

If he's doing it right, it'll be one every 60-90 seconds.

i have it set taking a picture every 60 seconds so i get every picture the cameras take. I get a sunrise, the whole day, then a sunset. Usually the way i do the videos they are about 7 min long so if there is a point in the video that something comes up there is time to do a print screen to capture that frame. The frames are at .75 sec long and the interval is .25 so the pic is up for at least 1 sec in the videos.

Speaking of webcams. Didn't T&T say there would be a third webcam to come?

Yes. But, no word on when.

Probably after they "officially" announce Planet Snoopy since that's where one of the new cameras is.

Ok everyone my ftp server is up and running. I have the directories by date. The files on there are the movie time lapse of the day and also a rar of all the captured images. the files are a little big 20 meg or so because im still playing around with the video for the best size. here is the way in to the server, feel free anytime ill leave it on.

Well i see people are connecting and giving it a shot. can someone post on here what kind of speed you are getting. Also sorry about the 30th but i have no pictures, for some reason they were all black.

Am I the only one that sees "Planet Snoopy" being space "themed"? It isn't to far from DT after all.

well unfortunately for some reason i cant get the ftp to work. I am going to however archive all the photos. If anyone wants a day worth or anything message me and i can email it to you. sorry it didnt work.

^^Do we even know for sure that it's going to be called Planet Snoopy? I thought that was just a rumor.. Though I wouldn't be upset if that were true. I'd like to see a space Snoopy :)

On closing day I observed a webcam affixed to the stairwell leading up to the ballroom. It was facing Peanut's playground (Planet snoopy). It looked like the future cam location.

^I don't see anything in your album.. sorry. I have a feeling CP is going to wait a few months before they start taking webcam images of their new construction. But again, I've been wrong before.
