The other AAA thread

Jeff I believe the question was not about AAA preview day but about normal park operation day tickets and whether or not you get a discount for those. This information could be somewhere else but I haven't yet seen it. If you could PO!NT me in the right direction I'd be very much obliged.

(Oh dear what a terrible pun)

Yes there are discounts for regular days from AAA it is i think a few bucks cheaper but is saves you the hastle of waiting in line for tickets when you are there.

They do offer them in the Ohio offices, but I've never really seen them promote them and I don't know when they do it.

Triple A sells them right out of the office- along with "other" theme park tix and cinema discounts as well. This is all advertised in their monthly paper they send out to their members.

I believe the price of regular, good any day, tickets at AAA are $28.95.
At least one AAA office here in Pittsburgh (McKnight Road) had a sign up last year that said "Cedar Point discount tickets available here". So they (somewhat) advertise it.

Sweet Greg, I was planning on going to the Ross Park Mall the Friday before CP opened anyway, I'll check out that office while I'm at it. Exactly where on McKnight Road is it?

Pain in the butt that I'm going to pay to get in on the day after Opening Day and then less than a month later I'll be working there. Ugh.

The AAA office on McKnight road is on your right as you are heading north from the city (red building right beyond the Blockbuster/Pool City plaza)

Let me know what offers they do have (even though I already have a season pass) so I can let others know.

I know my credit union (Greater Pittsburgh Federal CU) offered discounts last year, but not so sure if they are doing it this year too.

Does anyone know if AAA day will apply to AAA members of other states?? Maybe now that Steubenville is now being called Pittsburgh's newest suburb, perhaps I should.... Nah, maybe not.
