The Mantis Seats Should Click, Right?

Actually, I would not put the entire blame on not being able to have 3 train operation on the Mantis crew. Getting 32 people to stand up together is quite frustrating. When guests decide to stop bouncing or sitting down when in their seat supporters, then we will be able to once again have 3-train operation. But I don't see that happening soon.

Could you please tell me why the operators don't usually push the WHOLE seat down once it's locked. Every time I ride and an op comes over to help me out, they make sure I am buckled and stuff like that. But, when we go to take off...I quickly put my weight on the harness then stand back up and it seems to "click" into place when I do that. Why don't the ops click it for us?

"Life is not a dress rehearsal."

The seats have individual pin holes positioned the entire height of the chair. Sometimes for people that stand at "just the right height", the rod in the seat in sitting between two pin holes. Therefore the seat is "unlocked" inbetween two hole slots. It will either move about 1 inch up or 1 inch down to align the pin with the hole, but once the pin is in the hole, the seat will not move again, until the seat is released (either at the end of the ride or a ride host unlocks it). That's why when we say "your seats will lock in 3-2-1, you can usually bounce down a pin or up a pin setting. As for why the ride hosts don't click them for you is, interval. If we had to click everyone's seat that 1 inch, we might has well go down to 1 train operation, because it's already hard enough with two. Hopefully 3 train will return soon enough

Hopefully that wasn't too confusing.
