The lights on the coasters

Does anyone remember how the light cycles on Mantis and Raptor didn't do their cool flashy thingys last year until the weekends at the end of the season? Do you think that Mantis will have the chasing streak to the red arc at the top again, and raptor will have it's chasing lights again? I wonder if Bluestreak's light circuit will be fixed. I remember a portion of the lights would always stall in the middle of the ride. Is there any other coasters who's light cycles were different or had problems?

The Magnum had awesome lights! The lift hill had chasing strobes the entire length, shooting sporadically up or down the lift, very fast....it was awesome! The first tunnel was dark as I remember (?), and the second tunnel had strobes, a big red light that looked like you were going head-on into a train or something, the third tunnel was easily the best. It had smoke like it does, but "meteor" lights all along the ceiling, which give an effect like a nuclear disco ball would. I hope they put the lights that were on Vertigo to good use. Those were great lights, they just didn't refelect properly off Vertigo.
I think the towers of VertiGo was just too thin to really reflect the light off of them. On Raptor, when you reached the Cobra Roll, the bright lights would darken and then start to flash underneath (I think it was about 1 flash per second). As you exited the Cobra Roll, the lights then went back to their regular lighting.

I remember the lights, as well as signs around Raptor warning of them. Wonder if anyone ever really did have epileptic seizures after riding Raptor with the lights.

Ah, well that would explain why Raptor's lights were steady all season(s), but now I'm dunbfounded on Mantis, since the lights are below the train out of sight.

I thought of a cool idea with lights. With any ride that has flourescent bright paint, like WT, couldn't there be black lights shone up on the towers making them look like they glow?

YA, That would be pretty good! Nice idea

Once you drop, the fun don't stop!

Uhm, every ride with an on-ride photo has the epilepsy warning, since the flash for the camera is a strobe.

Red strobes cause seizures, not clear ones. Being a light tech, we never put red gels in the dataflash. The signs might just be another posted warning for the lawsuit-happy gp.
