Though I'd love to see the theming return, reality shows that it is just not going to happen. You can say all you want about how cool they looked at it made the ride look 10 times better, but nothing will happen. Like cheese on a stick said, this is far from the first time this has been dicussed. It took me to this May to finally realize it's not worth arguing about this issue. Enjoy the pictures with the theming attached because that's the most you'll see of the wonderful theming on the trains.

The only way those tires would stay put for sure would be to weld them to the axel it seems.
I'm curious to know why this wasn't the case with the original design. The wheels didn't have to be functional, so why not weld and bolt them to the frame.
Jeff, its that new grammar where through like 3rd grade they don't correct spelling. As long as you spell it phonetically correct you get an A. Aren't you glad your taxes go toward this system?

The tires were bolted on just like a car. but they kept breaking them and the tires became free, the accident probably would have been prevented but they would stop spinning by the time they reached the unload station that night one flew off so the ride ops didn't notice. If you where ever there to see the tires spinning, they weren't supposed to be able to.
